It was my first so big model in this small scale, so when builded looks for me almoust like 1/35 kit ;)
I wanted to make it in a towed position, with opened platforms. One should consider also leaving wheels unglued.
Most of the details were very crisp, only a barrel needed little filling and sanding.
Before painting, I leave it in 3 pieces, and in a towed position - hopefully some day a Famo will join it.
After sitting for 8 months in one of the boxes at the bookshelf, it reached cleaning agent and some painting.
I use very cheap acrylic car primer. I would like to compare it with Tamiya primer, but I haven't used it yet.
Then I used panzer grau for all the surfaces. After mixing it with german uniform feldgrau, I used sponge to create some scratches etc. I repeated making scratches with panzer grau after this step to make it more random. After painting tires and small handles and decals applying it look as below.
In the next steps I'll add some dust and more dust, but before that I'll have to think about some filters application.
Shortly after small bare metal chips (made with panzergrau/black and some clear for satin) were added (again with sponge):
